Bartlesville's Planning Commission approved a zoning application from Atwood's Ranch and Home Store Tuesday night.  The action was a continuation of hearing the commission tabled during its July 27th meeting.

Architect Daniel Bartlett and neighboring property owners were able to substanitally work out the issues that remained. Those were mainly trees and other screening plants that would seperate the Atwoods store from nearby homes.  Atwoods applied to build a 70-thousand square-foot store on 12 acres of land a quarter-mile north of Rice Creek Road on Washington Blvd.

The zoning action now goes to the Bartlesville City Council for its approval.  The action would likely be heard during the September 8th council meeting.
