The newly formed Main Street Bartlesville, Inc. got underway Tuesday evening with their first official meeting. The organization, formerly DBI, kept many board members but also brought in some new faces, including Jim Curd. Curd has been Vice Mayor on the Bartlesville City Council and also a board member with the BDA. Currently, Curd owns Dinks Pit Bar-B-Que and Sterling's Grill.  President Mark Haskell said the Board has expanded.

A major focus for Main Street Bartlesville is a volunteer drive to fill a number of committees. The Economic Restructuring Committee is in need of Block Captains, a Business Assistance Team and members to keep the Business Directory and Available Property Listings updated. Others are the Design and the Promotion Committees. For more information, visit http://www.mainstreetbartlesville.org or call the office at 918-214-8500.
