Oklahoma's Senator Jim Inhofe promoted his transportation bill to a Bartlesville Regional Chamber of Commerce Forum Wednesday morning.  The senator says his DRIVE Act is a bipartisan propoosal to fund work that is desperately needed over the next six years.  Inhofe told the forum that his bill is a long-overdue solution that would upgrade deteriorating roads and bridges in Oklahoma and across the country.

Inhofe says one in four bridges is in need of repair.  The bill now heads to the House.  First District Congressman Jim Bridenstine says he supports the intent of the bill but he has problems with some of the numerous amendments to the bill.
