Shooting Charges Pending

Charges are still pending aginst a Copan man who allegedly was involved in a shooting early Sunday morning.  Bartlesvillle police arrested 23-year old Dustin Lee Giddens for shooting with intent to kill.  Bartlesville police were called to the Mountain View Trailer Park located in the 1600 block of Middle Park where two men were shot.  The victims were transported to a Tulsa hospital.

According to a court affidavit, a witness told the police that she saw Gidddens  drive up to her trailer.  Another vehicle drive in behind Giddens.  The men got into an altercation.  Giddens reportedly got out of his vehicle with a gun in his hand and started firing shots.  Giddens turned himself in to the authorities who  seized the gun. 

Washington County District Attorney Kevin Buchanan told Special Judge John Gerkin that his office is still investigating the incident.  Giddens next court date is September 4th. 

Giddens bond was reduced from $250,000 to $25,000.
