Bartlesville Man Charged in Two Murders in Court Tuesday Afternoon

The Washington County courthouse will be a busy place on Tuesday with several formal arraignments on various felonies ranging from DUI to firearm possession to child neglect resulting in the death of an infant.
A Bartlesville man charged in the stabbing deaths of his wife and stepson and the aggravated assault and battery of his then 15-year-old stepdaughter will be in court for a disposition hearing to begin at 1;30 P.M. Steven Lee Adair faces two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of 41-year-old Crystal Adair and 23-year-old Charles Edward Lee. He also stabbed Crystal's daughter but she was able to escape and call for assistance.
Steven Lee Adair has been in jail since September of 2014. He is in jail on a one million dollar bond. District Attorney Kevin Buchanan said his office will seek the death penalty against Adair.
