Driver Charged in Accident that Took Two Lives

The man driving a speeding 1991 Firebird on Highway 88 near the Oologah Dam that ended the lives of two people was charged in the deaths in a Rogers County courtroom on Wednesday. The OHP reports that 34-year-old Eric Coager was driving west on Highway 88 when he lost control of the car and went off the road. The vehicle flipped, throwing 32-year-old Angela Brown at the scene. An 11-year-old boy, Aden Williams died from his injuries at the hospital. A third passenger, a 6-year-old boy, was seriously injured but survived.
Coager faces two charges of first degree manslaughter and one charge of DUI, great bodily injury due to the accident on September 12. Coager's bond is set at $300,000.
