OKWU Eagles Take Care Of Ecclesia College

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles Basketball team improved to 2-2 overall this season Tuesday night in Bartlesville as the Eagles won 93-85 over Ecclesia College. The Eagles led 42-37 at half and outscored the Royals 51-48 in the second half to snap a two-game losing streak. OKWU's Chance Houston got his first triple-double of the year, finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Camron Eagles led in scoring with 20 points, going 6 of 10 from the three-point line while CJ Ross finished with 15 points and Breiman Alexander added 11 points. Ecclesia College Jamarius Graves led the Royals with 20 points, going 6 of 12 from the three-point arc. The Royals stayed close in the contest because the Eagles shot 50 percent (19 of 38) from the line. Both teams shot the ball well. The Eagles shot 40 percent while the Royals shot 44 percent. OKWU won the boards 48-39.
Next up for OKWU as they will be at McPherson, Kansas this weekend playing in the Central Christian College Classic. On Friday, the Eagles will play Manhatten College and on Saturday take on Central Christian. Both games begin at 6 P.M.
