Bartlesville Wins Second Straight

The Bruins made it two in a row on Friday night in Bixby. 

Bartlesville beat Putnam City 54-49 in the second round of the Bixby Invitational Tournament.

BHS now moves on to face Deer Creek in the tourney's championship game Saturday night at 8:30. You can hear that game on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3. As well as online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and on our Bartlesville Radio App. 

AJ Parker had a coming out party in the victory. The senior guard scored 18 points, with three three-pointers, including a four-point play. 

Bartlesville (2-3) held Putnam City to only five fourth quarter points. The Bruins led by one entering the fourth quarter, 45-44. BHS put the game away at the line, going nine for 11 from the charity stripe. 

Barron Tanner added 15 points and was the only other Bruin in double digits. 

Deer Creek advanced to the tournament's championship game on a last-second shot to beat Tulsa East Central 60-58.
