OKWU Lady Eagles Fall In High Scoring Game

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles basketball team concluded play Thursday afternoon at Point Lookout, Missouri in the Coke CAM Jam Classic.  After defeating St. Gregory's a day earlier, the Lady Eagles couldn't get the second win as Olivet Nazarene took care of OKWU 114-109.  There were 21 lead changes in the contest.  OKWU led as many as seven points and took a 61-58 lead at halftime. The story of the game was turnovers as the Lady Eagles committed 30 turnovers.  Susan Agesen led OKWU with 24 points and game high 13 rebounds.  Courtney Robinson came off the bench and finished with 24 points.  Kayla Morgan finished with 16 points while Shelbie Kirby added 15 points. Yessenia Hernandez finished with a double-double, 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Lady Eagles will return home this Tuesday evening as they will host Central Christian.  Game time is 5:30.
