AM 1400, KWON is one of 50 finalists for the National Association of Broadcasters 29th-annual Crystal Award. Since 1987, the Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service.  Crystal Radio Award finalists were chosen by a panel of judges representing broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms.

Finalists will be honored and winners announced at the NAB Radio Luncheon April 19th in Las Vegas.  Successful radio host and Web entrepreneur Kim Komando will present a keynote address and Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, hosts of ESPN Radio's weekday morning show "Mike & Mike," will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame as part of the awards ceremony.
