Washington County Commissioners considered, discussed and gave approval to a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday in regards to the use of the Washington County Fairgrounds by the Washington County Health Department when deemed necessary. Commission Chair Mitch Antle said the agreement is for use of staff and equipment for mass clinics.

Antle went on to say that the Fairgrounds are the largest place in Washington County to handle the staff and equipment required to be a central stocking facility for necessary vaccines in the case of a viral or bio-hazard disaster.
