Architect, Scott Ambler gave the Bartlesville School Board a big piece of good news Monday night.

Ambler told the board during its March meeting that the target a Central Middle School building that would be ready in time for August classes was in doubt.  He says Central will be ready enough for teachers to move in and start the school year.

Superintendent, Dr. Gary Quinn says he is glad that teachers can be ready to move in on August 8th.

Teachers will need some time to organize their classrooms if they move in on the 8th.  Incoming Superintendent, Chuck McCauley suggested delaying the start of school by a week.

If the district needs to take inclement weather days, McCauley told the board there are several options but Bartlesville students already attend more school days than the state requires.
