Washington County Election Results

The election is over, and the results are in. In Washington County, all five of the precincts voted for Alan Gentges over Joel Rabin for Councilmember Ward 4 with 53.7 percent of the vote. Gentges had 1,096 total votes and Rabin had 945 total votes. Rabin had dropped out of the race just after the deadline to take your name off the ballot had passed.
For Councilmember Ward 3, James S. Curd JR. won with 55.48 percent of the vote with 1,474 votes. Current Mayor Tom Gorman had 1,183 votes.
Incumbent Senator James Lankford won handily in Washington County with 74.14 percent of the votes. Julie Daniels defeated Robert Jobe for State Senator District 29 with 68.14 percent of the votes in her favor. Travis Dunlap won his race in a large margin over Eric Epperson for State Representative District 10 with 75.34 percent of the vote.
Donald J. Trump won the presidential vote in Washington with 71.19 percent of the vote. Hillary Clinton had 22.73, and Gary Johnson had 6.08 percent.
State Questions 776, 780, 781, and 792 were all voted yes for the proposal. State Questions 777, 779, and 790 were all voted no against the proposal.
Everyone up for judicial retention were voted yes.
