The Osage County Board of Commissioners met this week, moving measures that are quote “procedural.” Osage County Commissioner Jerry Howerton, however, says that they had to move forward with what was on the agenda but that they need to discuss it further in the future before their next meeting.

Actions that needed more thought according to Howerton were the 8-year Road and Bridge Plan, and the selling of the Kennedy Building in the best way possible to make good use of the tax payers’ money. Howerton says that the Kennedy Building could be especially important to match the other store in Pawhuska like The Mercantile.

He hopes that these will be on the agenda again next Monday.

Other parts of this weeks agenda included tourism actions that commissoners hope to a socil media contract renewal with Green Country Marketing, and funding for the Kihekah Steh Powwow.
