Center-line striping continues in Bartlesville. Public Works Director Keith Henry says crews will also be working on the school zones in a week.  That will include re-striping the roads and cross walks.

Keith says crews will work on the crossing signals too. The city recently moved a crosswalk in front of Ranch Heights Elementary on Madison Boulevard so that it will be more suitable for the school's new front entrance.

Keith says, in the meantime, the paint machine operator should change to white paint soon to re-stripe the edges of the roads. He says that should take a couple weeks.

Keith says Washington Boulevard, Adams Road, and Hensley in Bartlesville are not maintained by the city. Re-striping for those streets is managed by the state through the Oklahoma Department Of Transporation.
