OK Mozart’s annual Oktoberfest is coming to downtown Bartlesville this weekend. The seventh annual German Folk Festival will be taking place this Friday on Dewey avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets.

The celebration will run from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature live polka music, traditional German foods, a wine and beer garden as well many other family-friendly attractions. Local food vendors will also be on hand offering specialty items.

Patrons are encouraged to wear their most authentic Bavarian folklore clothes as a part of the costume contest. There will also be other traditional German games and activities like the stein holding competition, the Hammerschlagen game and German heart cookie decorating.

Adult tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the gate. Student admission for ages 13-20 is $5. Children 12 and under are admitted free with paid adult. Corporate or group reserved tables are $350.
