Vehicle issues will not disrupt Samaritan EMS from their goal of eight minute and fifty nine second response times. Brett Selvidge the Director of Business Development told the Osage County Commissioners Tuesday morning that the Barnsdall service was down a vehicle in September, but it did not stop operations.

Selvidge said that the ambulance service is meeting it's under nine minute goal approximately 85 percent of the time, which can be a challenge given the size of their response area. He also pointed out that call volume is down, however it is not surprising as school has started and as temperatures cool in the Fall and Winter they receive less trauma calls. The next meeting of the Osage County Commissioners is next Monday, 10am at the Osage County Courthouse in Pawhuska.
