The Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball season got off to a great start over the weekend. Both the men's women's teams are off to 2-0 starts after winning both of their games in the Oklahoma Wesleyan Classic.

Following a 73-57 win over St. Gregory's on Friday, the Lady Eagles came out and trounced Central Christian College of the Bible 78-32. Tiffany Rieger, Sarah Short and Danae Goodwin all put up double figures in the convincing victory.

The men's team blewout CCC 102-62 on Friday and followed that up with a high-energy victory over St. Gregory's as well. The Eagles effort on the glass led to a convincing 80-62 win despite shooting just 38% from the field. BBreiman Alexander led all scorers with 23 points in the win.

Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball will be in action next on Nov. 3 for a home doubleheader.
