A Bartlesville man was arrested on a warrant after allegedly smoking marijuana with a minor child. Christopher Hacker appeared for an arraignment at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday facing a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to an affidavit, a social worker made contact with police in regards to a 15-year-old male allegedly smoking marijuana with Hacker. Police made contact with Hacker at his residence after hearing this report.

Hacker claimed that he smoked marijuana with his son at least ten times. Hacker stated that he would rather have the child consume marijuana in a safe environment. Hacker said the idea was to educate his child on how to use marijuana.

A warrant was issued on December 19. Hacker was arrested on Monday and posted a $500 bond shortly after. He is due back in court on February 18.
