The southbound ramp off Adams Boulevard reopened in Bartlesville Thursday afternoon. Public Works Director Keith Henry says they got a call around 2 Thursday morning in regards to a plugged up storm drain. Henry says crews responded to the call and blocked off the ramp because it was impossible for traffic to pass through.

More crews were sent out with pumps so they could pump the water out of the strom drain. That allowed the crews to see the inlet. Henry says that the inlet wasn't blocked which means there's something wrong with the line itself.

The Public Works Department will look further into the situation. Henry says the investigation on the storm drain situation may have to wait until next week when temperatures rise. He says the ground is too wet and saturated after this incident to do anything now. However, there is a plan in place to find a solution.

The first thng the department will do is use a jet rod on the line. That could free up whatever debris is blocking the line. If that doesn't work, Henry says they may have to excavate the area to see what's happening with the line.

As mentioned, the southbound highway 75 ramp off of Adams Boulevard is open to traffic.
