Darrell Fincher has had a busy first week in his new role in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Gov. Kevin Stitt recently visited the House of Representatives to work towards functional relationships with the representatives.

Fincher says what Gov. Stitt displayed in the House is what he hopes to have with his constituents during his time as District 11’s representative. He says the representatives want to hear from their constituents and ask that you can or write them. They ask that you include your address so they know whether or not you reside in their district or someone else's district. Fincher says he looks at everything that comes in so he can sort it out.

Fincher says an effective way to get across to him and other representatives is to be short and succinct with what actions you want to see take place. He says that allows him to truly know what his constituents want so he can speak on their behalf.

Representative Fincher recently attended a town hall meeting at the Collinsville Public Library where he got to hear from his constituents and he address the current legislative session with them. Fincher serves Rogers, Tulsa and Washington counties.
