The Oklahoma Department of Transportation looks to go through with their work on the State Highway 123 Bridge project inside the Bartlesville city limits. Bartlesville City Manager Mike Bailey says ODOT has held several public meetings to discuss the project, but not everyone has been able to attend.

Good questions have come to the city regarding the project, but Baileys says some questions were based on faulty understanding on what the project will be like. To help the public understand the bridge project, the city has posted an FAQ to their website: www.cityofbartlesville.org. Bailey encourages anyone interested in the project to consult the FAQ first. The FAQ also has contact information for the ODOT project's representatives.

The state plans to realign the State Highway 123 Bridge with Delaware Avenue. Construction on the new bridge is anticipated to begin in 2021. To review the city's FAQ, click here. The FAQ also has video recordings of ODOT's public hearings on the project.
