Copan Public Schools Superintendent Christopher Smith says everything is okay in Copan after a report came to the school about a potential threat Tuesday afternoon. He says there was a report sent in to the Washington County Sheriff's Office about a threat to the school. That threat ended up being a false report.

Authorities did come to Copan Public Schools despite their being no credible threat. Superintendent Smith says they had authorities on hand as a safety precaution. He says student safety is their top priority and it will continue to be their top concern in the future.
