Jenks Woman Gets DUI with Child in Vehicle

A Jenks woman was arrested for driving under the influence with a child in the vehicle on Sunday in Bartlesville. Khanthaly Boyd appeared at the Washington County Courthouse facing charges of aggravated DUI, felony child endangerment, and transporting an open container.

According to court documents, Boyd was pulled over on Tuxedo Boulevard in Bartlesville. Boyd tested with a blood alcohol level above .15, the standard for an aggravated DUI charge. A child was also observed to be in the vehicle.

Officers also recovered a bottle of wine without its original cork within the driver’s reach. Boyd claimed to be returning from a child’s birthday party. Bond for Boyd was set at $10,000. She is scheduled to appear in court next on March 1.
