The Bartlesville Civitan Club’s dedication of the new pavilion at Civitan Park will be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions on Friday.

Installation of the 20-foot by 44-foot pavilion was completed by UrbanHaus of Bartlesville at a cost of $30,775. Installation fees were provided by the City of Bartlesville along with additional donations and grants provided by the Civitan Club and others. A new dedication ceremony date for the new pavilion at Civitan Park is to be determined.

Affectionately dubbed "The Dinosaur Park" by local youngsters, Civitan Park is Bartlesville's only ADA-accessible park. The park was constructed several years ago in collaboration with the Bartlesville Civitan Club, which raised private donation funding for a portion of the equipment. The park is located at the intersection north of Nowata Road and east of Silver Lake.
