Central National Bank to Change Name Friday

Central National Bank of Enid has officially changed its name to Stride Bank. Marketing Director Stephanie Collums says iterations of “Central” and “National” are commonplace and that Stride Bank wants to stand out from the rest. In addition, Collums says the name "Stride" shows the direction the bank wants to go in. That direction they are focused on is helping their customers with their stride moving forward with the products and services they have to offer.
She says Stride Bank has invested in technologies and infrastructure in recent years to offer new services and resources to local and national customers. The investments prompted the need for a clearer, more approachable identity. She says Stride Bank has specialty lending divisions in the Tulsa and Oklahoma City markets. Those divisions are doing business across the country. A new payments division is also a primary focus that is growing across the country. She says the name change helps these things become more recognized nationally.
That being said, Collums says Stride Bank is the same bank with the same people. The bank has not changed ownership or been sold. She says the bank will continue with their local relationships and their global possibilities. They will still have the same personalized services for their customers. This is just a name change.
Central National Bank in Bartlesville will have a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday at 10:30 a.m. The Bartlesville location will change its name to Stride Bank.
