NCAA Division II basketball has made its way back to Bartlesville, as the Great American Conference Tournament will kick off its men’s and women’s event on Thursday afternoon at Bruin Fieldhouse.

This will be the final year the GAC is in Bartlesville. The tournament begins with quarterfinal action on Thursday and Friday – here is the schedule for Thursday.  

Session 1:

Noon - No. 2 East Central will face No. 7 Arkansas Tech women.

2:15 PM - No. 2 Southeastern Oklahoma State facing No. 7 Arkansas-Monticello men.

Session 2:

5:45 PM -The night session begins with maybe the biggest local interest – as former Bartlesville Lady Bruin Hailey Tucker and the No. 1 Southwestern Oklahoma State women take their 27-game win streak against No. 8 Northwestern Oklahoma State.

8:00 PM - No. 1 Southern Nazarene against No. 8 Ouachita men.

The tournament will run through Sunday, with semifinal games on Saturday evening and the championship games on Sunday afternoon. Chairman of the Bartlesville Sports Commission Bob Pomeroy talks about ticket options.
