A groundbreaking ceremony for the highly anticipated Tower Center at Unity Square project will take place Friday in Bartlesville. The space, designed by Ambler Architects, will unite Frank Lloyd Wright’s historic Price Tower Arts Center and the nearby Taliesin-designed Bartlesville Community Center.

Visit Bartlesville Executive Director Maria Gus will emcee the groundbreaking ceremony. Bartlesville's Mayor Dale Copeland will be introduced by Gus before giving a welcome address. Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell will give an address next. Oklahoma Arts Council Director Ambler Sharples will follow Pinnell's address with her own comments. Bartlesville poet and Bartlesville Community Center Trust Member Morris McCorvey will then read poetry before dignitaries break ground for the Tower Center at Unity Square Project.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new urban green is scheduled for Friday, March 29th. The event will take place at 11:30 AM on the corner of Silas Street and Osage Avenue.
