Another Bartlesville man who was involved in last week’s shooting incident near Madison Middle school was arrested. Matthew Stanton was in court on Monday facing charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 2,000 feet of a school, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of stolen property.

According to an affidavit, Stanton was the owner of the home at 6101 Baylor Drive. All occupants of the home were investigated due to their alleged involvement in the shooting.

A search of the residence produced numerous containers and vacuum seal packs of marijuana. Marked packages with different names and THC percentages were also found in a kitchen cabinet. What was believed to be homemade THC wax was located in a refrigerator.

In a bedroom there were multiple loaded firearms as well. Stanton allegedly let another suspect Caleb McCabe watch his residence previously because he had so many firearms.

Stanton posted a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next on April 12.
