A Tulsa man who was involved in a 2018 vehicle theft was arrested on a warrant. Keith Parsons appeared at the Washington County Courthouse on Tuesday facing charges of felony vehicle burglary, concealing stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle stemming from the July 2018 incident.

According to an affidavit, the victim was advised by a friend that the victim’s missing work truck was seen driving in Bartlesville. Inside the truck was approximately $10,000 worth of tools. Also taken from the business was a five gallon bucket of stripped copper wire.

A few days later the vehicle was identified near the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Surveillance video shows that Parsons arrived with another male in an SUV driving behind the work truck. Two other suspects helped Parsons move the tools from the truck to the SUV. The two vehicles then drove off.

An investigator spoke with Parsons over the phone about the incident. The investigator stated that Parsons was seen on video near the hospital with the truck. Parsons then stated, “I knew we should not have pulled in there.”

Parsons did not return any phone calls after that. He was arrested on a warrant nearly nine months after the incident occurred. Bond for Parsons was set at $10,000. He is due back in court on April 12.
