The Bartlesville City Council took a moment to honor emergency dispatchers at Monday night’s meeting. The city declared the week of April 8 through April 14 as E911 Professionals week. Councilman Jim Curd read the proclamation. City Manager Mike Bailey was very appreciative of the work that goes on behind the scenes in emergencies.

Several dispatchers were on hand to receive the proclamation. All members of the council expressed gratitude for the hard work all dispatchers do under the immense pressure of emergency situations.
