Two Bartlesville residents were flown by medical helicopter to Tulsa  following an accident on Saturday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the single vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 75 and W 1100 Road between Dewey and Copan. The wreck closed Highway 75 for approximately one hour.

28-year old Nicholas Blevins was driving his 1998 Ford Explorer northbound on US-75 when the vehicle departed the roadway to the left for unknown reasons. Blevins overcorrected and crossed all lanes of traffic to the right before striking a ditch. The vehicle then rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Blevins was transported to the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa and was admitted in stable condition. His passenger, 30-year-old Shasta Taylor, was also transported to Tulsa and admitted in stable condition.
