An injury accident took place on Silver Lake Road at Polaris Drive in Bartlesville just before 1:00 o'clock on Thursday.

The collision happened just south of the Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball Fields. Both lanes of Silver Lake Road were closed at the time.

Sergeant Jim Warring with the Bartlesville Police Department said a northbound vehicle is believed to have gone left of center and collided with a southbound vehicle on Silver Lake. Drivers in both vehicles complained of injuries when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

One driver was taken by EMS to the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Sgt. Warring said there is no indication of life threatening injuries at this time.
