The Nowata County 911 Trust Authority recommended that the county pair with Coffeyville, Kansas for emergency dispatch services. Jerome Gnatek presented the agreement on behalf of the trust authority. Pairing with Rogers County had also been discussed. Gnatek explained why they chose Coffeyville.

The service agreement will cost roughly $7,600 per month. Gnatek also stated that mapping needs to happen still. The state will need to give its approval eventually as well. The agreement was tabled because the district attorney has yet to look over the agreement. However, all emergency agency heads voiced their approval of the deal.

It is anticipated that deal with Coffeyville will be approved next week and a deployment plan will be enacted.
