City of Bartlesville crews continue their work to fill a hole in front of City Hall after fixing a fire line valve leak.

Water Utilities Director Terry Lauritsen said crews responded to a call about a leak in front of City Hall at 9:00 p.m. last Tuesday. He the crews worked all night to repair a fire line valve leak in front of the municipal building.

Repairs on the leak were complete around 8:00 or 8:30 on Wednesday morning. Concrete repairs and back filling will now take place. This was anticipated to be completed last Friday, but Lauritsen said Monday was the earliest day crews could get back to restoring the area due to other main breaks and emergency items they responded to late last week.

Concrete is expected to be poured on Monday or Tuesday.  The concrete will need to cure for several days before it can open back up to traffic.

The area in front of Bartlesville City Hall should be open within 7 days. While Johnstone Avenue is still passable to traffic, you are asked to use caution as the crew completes repairs.
