Third COVID-19 Death Reported in Osage County; 1,327 State Cases

State numbers continue to rise as health officials continue to battle COVID-19. There are now 1,327 positive cases in the state of Oklahoma. Locally a woman in the 65 and older category died in Osage County from the virus. There are three Osage County deaths being reported out of the 51 statewide. Osage has 31 positive cases, Washington County has 39 positives and Nowata has nine confirmed cases.
Statewide there are 1,422 negative tests for COVID-19. Numbers are anticipated to elevate for some time. Nowata County Emergency Manager Laurie Summers says a statewide peak is still several weeks away.
58 of Oklahoma’s 77 counties have a reported positive case according to the Oklahoma State Department on Health.
