Washington County Case Numbers Continue Rise

Washington County case numbers continue to rise as a likely result of the drive-thru testing site in Bartlesville last week. The county is now up to 114 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, which is the fourth most of any county in the state. Washington County is the 14th most populated county in the state.
Osage County is now reporting 56 cases and seven deaths. Nowata County is still listing just 10 cases for the fifth straight day although numbers are expected to bounce with a drive-thru test site scheduled for Tuesday.
Statewide case numbers now reach 2,069 confirmed positives with over 20,000 negatives counting data provided to the OSDH through private labs. There are 99 deaths across the state. One death in Kay County was reported on Monday.
The most at risk group continues to be those that are 65 years of age or older. That demographic represents over 33% of total cases and over 80% of total deaths in Oklahoma.
