Four New Washington County COVID-19 Deaths Being Reported

Four COVID-19 deaths of Washington County residents are being reported by the Oklahoma State Department of Health on Tuesday. All the deceased are over 65 years old, two males and two females. The OSDH is reporting 21 new deaths statewide, five of which occurred in the last 24 hours. The other deaths happened sometime between April 14 and April 19.

There are 2,807 cases being reported in Oklahoma, an increase of 127 cases since Monday. The state is listing 143 deaths due to COVID-19.

In Washington County confirmed cases have spiked up to 192 , with 10 deaths and 62 listed recoveries. The OSDH report says that 164 of those are in Bartlesville. Osage County is reporting 65 cases, eight deaths and 34 recoveries. Nowata County is listing 13 cases and nine recoveries.

Those who are 50 years or older represent 56% of the total COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma.
