OSU Players Condemn Gundy for OAN Shirt

Mike Gundy is the subject of controversy once again after the Oklahoma State head coach was pictured on a fishing boat wearing a t-shirt advertising ‘OAN’, or the One America News Network. The OAN is noted for its far-right political views.
This prompted Cowboys star running back and Heisman Trophy hopeful Chuba Hubbard to tweet out a message against his head coach. Hubbard said, “I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE.”
I will not stand for this.. This is completely insensitive to everything going on in society, and it’s unacceptable. I will not be doing anything with Oklahoma State until things CHANGE. https://t.co/psxPn4Khoq

Hubbard was one of many voices that spoke in a video released by Oklahoma State University in support of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. Amen Ogbongbemiga voiced his support for Hubbard in a tweet as well. Ogbongbemiga attended a BLM protest in Tulsa. The linebacker cited this as where he contracted COVID-19. The university and Gundy have yet to respond.
