City Manager Mike Bailey, Adams Golf Course Pro Jerry Benedict and City Engineer Micah Siemers brought listeners and viewers update on Bartlesville city matters on Monday.

Mike Bailey gave us a review on last week's issues including the BDA special election results, the Community Development Block Grant for COVID-19 relief, the National Take Back Innitiative, the temporary closure of the recycling center and a surprising increase in local sales taxes received.

Adams Golf Course Pro Jerry Benedict said the course is in great playing condition and he is looking forward to all the warmer weather events. Benedict also thanked the many associations that use the course.

Benedict announced that the free ladies golf clinic is set for May 3,4 and 5 with the Junior program set for June 7,8 and 9.

Jerry Benedict said he is hopeful the big tournaments will be returning this year post-COVID 19. He estimatesd the course normally helps local charities bring over a million dollars a year while bringing in tourist dollars for hotels, meals and gasoline.

Micah Siemers brought us up to date on both the Hillcrest Drive and and Frank Phillips Blvd road and infrastucture projects urging drivers to be patient as watch out for the workers.
