Washington County Sheriff's Office staff came together and purchased goodies for their E911 dispatchers.

Sheriff Scott Owen said each E911 dispatch shift has received a basket full of candy, note pads, pens, drinks, and much more as an expression of the WCSO's thanks for all they do for Washington County. He said these men and women are the heroes behind the phone and microphone - directing help to where it's needed and making sure the County's deputies are safe.

This week was National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. It was also Public Safety Telecommunications E911 Professionals Week in the City of Bartlesville.
