A Bartlesville man is getting set to launch a new manufacturing company called USAco come June 8, 2021.

K. Vasudevan (Vasu), the Chairman and Founder of Service & Technology Corporation and Service & Manufacturing Corporation (STC Group of Companies), is getting ready to be the Chairman and Founder of USAco, which is owned by Vasu's STC Group of Companies. Vasu said USAco has one specific purpose: to make quality products in Bartlesville, America. He said they're in the service business for their clients and employees, and they do not conduct their business in order to make money, but make money in order to conduct their business.

USAco and the STC Group of Companies appreciates the opportunity of being in Bartlesville and being part of the community. Vasu said he's grateful to God Almighty that he's privileged to call the United States of America his home.

USAco will be located at 1208 SW Frank Phillips Boulevard. Vasu said this will be located next to their main Service & Technology facililty, which is located inside the old Lincoln School that was built in 1914 along Hensley Blvd. He said Service & Technology Corporation and Service & Manufacturing will be on the north side of the block while USAco will be on the south side of the block that they own. 

Vasu said USAco is going through what they'll need to exhibit during their opening ceremony. He said there will be a variety of things that they're going to be exhibiting so that you will be to decide what you want to buy. USAco will only be manufacturing; they will not be in the retail selling business.

The goal for USAco is to manufacture items for you to buy that you can eventually go out and sell. For example, Vasu said someone may want USAco to manufacture 500 of some sort of item that they can sell and the company will then make it for them if the company feels as if it could make a great, valuable product for them.

However, Vasu said USAco is not in the money making business. Rather, USAco is in the business of being selective in order to ensure that they're providing what the buyer needs. Vasu said they'll be sure that the product is of good quality for the people of the United States. He said that will be decided by the buyer because that's how they intend to operate.

The number of new jobs coming to the area will depend upon demand. Speaking of demand, Vasu said the smallest things the STC Group of Companies has made in the past has either been a spark plug connector or a toothpick dispenser while the biggest item they've created took 28 semi-truck loads from Bartlesville to Kentucky. He said he hopes they can employ approximately 200 people at USAco alone.

Vasu has been in Bartlesville since 1972 and has been in management practices since he was nine-years-old overseas. Vasu said they're ready to go with USAco as the Almighty has been kind to them. He said they're here to keep people employed and people fed.
