The 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship officially kicks off at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa on Thursday morning.

A familiar name is helping to host the event, and play in the tournament. Southern Hill’s Director of Golf and Bartlesville native Cary Cozby received an exemption to play in the event. He tees off at 8:38 on Thursday morning.

Cozby says to play and host a major tournament where he works – and grew up – is surreal.

Cosby’s father, Jerry, was the 41-year pro at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, who passed away last year. Cozby will play with Tom Lehman and Jay Haas.

Other notables and tee times at Southern Hills on Thursday: John Daly tees off at 8:05, VJ Singh at 8:27, Erie Ells and Retief Goosen at 1:53 and Bernhard Langer at 2:04 – among others.
