Work on private property along West 2200 Road and North 4000 Road in District 2 of Washington County is on the horizon.

The Washington County Commissioners unanimously approved an agreement on Monday morning for the work to take place, as explained by Commissioner Mike Bouvier.

Commissioner Bouvier says they will attempt to give a better view of the S-curve where they will be working on 2200 Road. Bouvier says they will cut away part of the northern section of the curve to create a better line of sight for safety. He says several accidents and close calls have occurred in the area.

4000 Road south of Highway 60 will have a low water crossing replaced. Commissioner Bouvier says they will make a shoofly there while they work on the crossing.

The crossing is near the Keever Ranch. Commissioner Bouvier says they will work on this project as long as weather permits.
