Oklahoma Highway Patrol responds to a single-vehicle DUI accident over the weekend.

According to a release by OHP, 48-year-old Rhett Lucas of Bartlesville was driving his 2017 Ford Explorer northbound on West 2300 Road in Washington County around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday when his vehicle departed the roadway and struck a tree. Officials state that Rhett was allegedly driving under the influence.

Rhett was not injured in the accident, but his passenger, 49-year-old Bobbi Lucas, was transported by Bartlesville EMS to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa with head and trunk internal injuries.
