The Pawhuska girls basketball team will be playing for their season in the Area Consolation bracket on Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Huskies rebounded from their first postseason loss to Preston on Saturday to win two straight games over Central Sallisaw and Colcord on Monday and Tuesday to punch their ticket to the Area round.

Pawhuska will now face Fairland in an elimination game from Skiatook at 1:30 PM.

Fairland will provide a challenge, the Lady Owls are 22-2 on the year, with their only losses coming to 4A Mannford and 2A Warner in their last game in the Regional title round.

Pawhuska is 20-5 on the year.
