Arvest Foundation Supports Casa Hispana

With the help of a $5,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation, Casa Hispana will continue its mission of supporting local individuals and families by creating connections to community resources.
Financial Sales Representative Esmeralda Reyes presented the check to Casa Hispana Executive Director Mili Cappelletti, volunteer Gladys Helter, and board members Clarissa Rowley and Jeff Birk.
In a statement, local Arvest Bank President Kim Moyer said:
“It is our pleasure to have Esme present this check on behalf of the Arvest Foundation. We recognize the importance of Casa Hispana in helping families positively integrate into the community.”
In addition to the connections and resources available, Casa Hispana also offers translation services, English and citizenship classes and help in addressing a wide range of everyday issues such as housing, utilities, medical care, social services and community needs.
"Casa Hispana sincerely appreciates the Arvest Foundation's support of local non-profit organizations such as ours,” said Cappelletti. “Each year, we encounter significant challenges to meet ongoing expenses and keep our doors open, and without assistance from the Arvest Foundation, many such organizations would not be able to continue to support the needy in our community. Thank you, Arvest Foundation!"
The Arvest Foundation seeks to provide funding to grantees who are actively working to create positive change for others. Major areas of focus include: K-12 education, economic development, and enhancing the quality of life throughout the Arvest footprint.
