The Dewey City Council held its regular meeting on Monday, September 19. During the meeting, the group was pleased to learn from City Manager Kevin Trease that sales tax was only down 4-tenths of a percent from this time last year.

During the meeting, the council approved a 2023 REAP application for obtaining wildland equipment for the Fire Department, ARPA funding for two AEDs for the police department, and a transfer of Forestry Grant funding to the Fire Department for general equipment purchases.
