Pawhuska played in the third-place game in the Alva-NWOSU tournament Saturday night both boys and girls and faced South Central. 

The Lady Huskies would suffocate the Lady Timberwolves winning 40-17. South Central would hit three field goals all game. Yeah, you read that right, three field goals. Two happened in the fourth quarter with a couple minutes left. SCHS would have 11 points at the end of the third quarter, nine of those points were free throws. 

 Maggie Green would drill a three at the end of the third quarter that would end any hopes of a South-Central comeback. 

Lady Huskies improve to 3-1 this season. 

The Huskie boys would fall short against South Central 49-37. PHS would have a one-point lead going into the fourth quarter, but the rim seemingly had a lid on it in the fourth. The Huskies would hit one free throw through the first five minutes of the quarter and would score five points in the fourth. 

The Huskies fall to 2-2 this season. 

Pawhuska has its first home game Tuesday when the Huskies host rival Hominy.
