Indians on Another OKC Trip Tuesday

No rest for Bartlesville’s summer baseball team, as the Doenges Ford Indians are right back after it in the Oklahoma City metro area again on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tribe will face the Lookouts in an Oklahoma D-Bat League double-header. The games will take place at Southern Nazarene.
Bartlesville stands at 8-4 on the summer following a 2-1 weekend in Mountain Home, Arkansas. This was the final out-of-state tournament, as the Tribe will spend the rest of the summer in the Sooner state.
There were some major positives to come out of the Twin Lakes Classic. Bartlesville’s pitching continued its tear to begin the season. Meanwhile the bats started to wake up, although it did not lead to as many runs as the Indians would have liked.
Manager John Pannell talks about his thoughts following the Mountain Home trip.
Bartlesville will stay busy with the Glen Winget Tournament on the horizon in a little more than a week.
The Indians return home for a double-header against their rival Three Rivers Bandits on Wednesday night.
Then Bartlesville has twin bills on Monday and Wednesday of next week prior to the Winget beginning a week from Thursday at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
A 3:30 first pitch in Bethany today. Game one will air on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM – KPGM. Game two will air on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
Both games will be video live streamed on KWONTV.com.
